Hi! Welcome to my website, I’m so happy you’re here!

Like genuinely, so happy, I don’t know how you got here (please tell me) but I’m excited to share this project with you!

Dear Dragon is my first book. My name’s Hannah, I really want to be an author, it’s like my dream and all, and Dear Dragon is the book (or series of books) I hope to make my debut with.

I’ve already completed the first book, and I’m on a second draft with the second book, outlined the third (I also have a general series outline), and have a lot of useless information about the universe it all takes place in.

This site is going to be the series website, here you can find the first three chapters to read. You can find information about the world and about it’s characters.

You’ll also find a lot of art made by me. Although, I want to be an author not an illustrator or web designer, so, please forgive my excursions outside of my comfort zone.

I have a lot I’d like to do with this website, and although I’m still seeking out representation for my book, I hope that the contents of this site can be enjoyable in the meantime. I hope you can get invested in the world and characters so that when the book eventually arrives, it can be an even better experience for you!

Thanks you again for being here, and if you have any questions or comments or just want to say hi, feel free to contact me either through comments on the site or just email contact@deardragon.eu

Enjoy!

Elizabeth and Emily – Sick Day

Emily reached the inn to find some of the local customers sitting outside on the tables. “You’re late,” one of them smiled. Emily sighed, “I’m so sorry, Elizabeth was ill.” She was searching for the right key to open the door, “the usual?” “Yes, but no rush,” he...

Elizabeth and Emily – Bad Night

“Are you okays?” Emily asked from the other side of the table. Elizabeth looked up from her food, she’d barely eaten a bite. Usually Elizabeth was the first to finish on their weekend dates. Emily was too busy talking to eat. But today Emily’s empty plate sat in...

Elizabeth and Emily – Coffee

It was the end of another day. The end of another week. Heck, it was the end of another month as it tended to be every so often. The sun was setting, and the inn was quiet. One of the few sounds was that of dishes and water as Elizabeth finished cleaning up from...

Elizabeth and Emily – Job Interview

Emily needed to finish cleaning up if she wanted to meet up with her best friend. Easier said than done when she still had tasks leftover from days prior. Starting an inn had been her dream, but now, several years into it, the work was pilling up and wearing her down....

Emily and Elizabeth’s arrival at Aerradra

Emily arrived at Aerradra four days after dragons joined the Union. Eighteen years old, innocent and naïve. She'd been born and raised in Phixel, a large city. Not quite the capital of Oppida, but there was a variety of people and cultures. Emily worked in a small...

Valentine’s War

PROLOGUE Valentine was not an old and wise king. He tried his best, starting his reign strong with the creation of a public health system based on research and education. He'd then worked hard on the Union. He didn't want his kingdom limited, he wanted it to be grand....

Valentine’s First Week a.k.a. Night Out

Joseph had been announced dead to the public one week ago. With it came a coronation, the new king, his son and spitting image of him. King Valentine. The man looked no older than eighteen although his official age was twenty. And the press talked about his stern...

First Flying Lesson

Zack and Kai were identical twins. They had identically dark coloured skin that contrasted with their blond hair. They were the same height, had the same smile and the same cheeky habits that drove their parents insane. There one differentiating characteristic was...

“Father’s going to work in his office today, okay Precious?” Henry set the breakfast of pancakes and fruit salad down in front of the little girl. She pulled her plate closer and nodded. “Okay Father.” “That means you need to try not to make much noise, stay inside....
